ACMโs Special Interest Group on Mobility of Systems, Users, Data and Computing (ACM SIGMOBILE) announced the new round for two SIGMOBILE Student Community Grant awards, which will help support the next generation of mobile computing researchers and tighten community connections during the continued pandemic. Ph.D. student Zhenzhou (Tom) Qi and his advisor Professor Tingjun Chen from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University received a $10,000 grant to work on the infrastructure and software that will facilitate open-access millimeter-wave and massive MIMO research in the COSMOS testbed.
